"AFTERNOON AT THE FLEURISTE"

"Afternoon at the Fleuriste"

12x16" oil on canvas

by Kathryn Morris Trotter

I was so drawn to the color in this florist that I had to paint this immediately...the vivid turquoise cabinets were a perfect foil for the bright and colorful flowers in the forefront. This is reminiscent of a typical scene in a Europe..a mother and daughter taking a moment to stop and buy fresh flowers....just because....
