NEW DIRECTION OF WORK
I haven't posted in awhile, but I have been busy. I have been experimenting and it seems I am beginning to take a destructive approach to painting. The painting above is 30x36", heavily layered. I also used a blow torch in some of the layer burning off some of the texture and bubbling up the painting.
I have also been experimenting with using gunpowder on paper. So I feel a new series "bubbling" up - along lines of destruction leads to beauty.... it is in the seedling stage right now.
