I am devoted to the creation of art with an eastern spirit of tranquility and harmony wedded with the colorful vitality of western art. I have always been deeply influenced by my personal journeys to and connection with indigenous cultures in Asia and the New World. The "Blue Girl" is portrait of a young Tibetan whose image I captured on my camera back in 1998. She has an alluring tranquility to me and her simple, peaceful life brings people happiness.
