The holidays are a perfect time for a mountain
trip! The leaves were still full of
color, as the trees brace themselves for a possible blanket of snow in the
coming days. This painting was created from a photo taken while my husband and
I were on a trip to our little cabin in the woods to decorate it for Christmas,
and bring our share of holiday spirit to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia.
