This is a companion piece to “Over A Mountain Road I”,
posted last month. In this impressionistic
depiction, the old dirt road meanders over a hill, where it appears to continue
in the distance. This disappearing curve
in the road may leave one wondering just what might be around the bend. The
leaves were still a burst of color at the time that this painting was
started, and the air was crisp before the fall of the first snow.
