Today I painted in oil instead of pastel. Don't know why, just did! This was painted from a photo using my digital photo screen -- a 15" one -- which is wonderful to paint from when in the studio. The painting is also painted around the edge of the canvas. I'll evaluate whether it is finished in a couple of days. I like to leave it sitting, and come back with fresh eyes.
