Started ‘en plein
air’, and finished in the studio, this oil painting of a waterfall in Vickery
Creek in Roswell, GA was fun to paint. The contrast of the shade on the rocks and water in the foreground and
the brightly lit white water of the falls really excited me. Add to
that the sounds of the falls, the chirping of birds in the trees, and just
being outdoors, for the perfect ingredients for a lovely way to spend a day!
